The Ford Studio Kilmuckridge. Mission Statement:
This is a open, working studio, you can come in and see my work, ask questions or simply watch me work, This studio facilitate work shops and art classes (adult art classes held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings)
My work will be on display so you will be able to view my finished work and current projects being developed,
The Ford Studio is situated in the heart of Kilmuckridge Village, three kilometers from the beautiful beach of Morriscastle, known as the “Golden Mile”
It has been set up as my studio, which is fully equipped with materials and aids and I have extensive books on all art forms from renaissance to contemporary art which are available to any one who would like to use them for research and reference but also if they would just like to look at and read them.
One of my goals has been to set up and bring back art, of any form into Kilmuckridge, there is such a diversity of artists within the village and surrounding areas, not only painters, but writers, musicians, sculptures, etc. and I hope this will become an introduction into the area for them all. I hope that The Ford Studio will be used as a beginning to show case these talents as well as my own. I hope the studio will be used to help others and I will always be available for advice or mentoring of any of these people when ever they need help.
The Ford Studio has an open door policy and any one is welcome.
